Description:
- Join GitLab as a Senior Backend Engineer for the Portfolio Experience team, focusing on backend development and user needs.
- Evolve backend architecture for the work items platform, serving millions of work items across numerous groups and projects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in representing user perspectives and collaborating with product managers and engineers.
- Full stack experience with a focus on backend, particularly in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Strong PostgreSQL skills and experience in optimizing database performance at scale.
- Experience designing GraphQL and/or RESTful APIs with a focus on scalability and compatibility.
- Strong communication skills for asynchronous environments and experience with AI integration in development workflows.
