Description:

  • The Motley Fool is a financial services company focused on making the world smarter, happier, and richer through investment education.
  • The Commerce and Messaging tech team manages the subscription business's revenue transactions and communications, recently modernizing their stack to Python, FastAPI, and Stripe.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with Python and API frameworks like FastAPI.
  • Experience with Stripe billing, asynchronous data processing, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to work US East Coast core hours (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST).
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with Braze, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Redis, and frontend technologies like Next.js and React.
