Remote Senior Python Engineer

Description:

• Seeking a passionate Senior Python developer for the Home Assistant department at the Open Home Foundation.
• Responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Home Assistant platform, focusing on AI capabilities and community contributions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Python back-end development.
• 3+ years of experience with asyncio and threading.
• Proven experience building and shipping LLM-powered features in production Python.
• Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol and local, on-device inference.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Professional fluency in English and European residency required.
