Description:
- Join Hex as a Senior or Staff-level Software Engineer on the Backend Platform team.
- Build and maintain Hex's core compute platform for code execution, SQL querying, and data processing.
- Work on projects involving backend data systems and the frontend collaborative notebook interface.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in complex, data-driven systems or applications.
- Expert-level understanding of Python, SQL, jupyter kernels, and data warehousing systems.
- Strong knowledge of industry trends in data processing and performant data architectures.
- Experience in remote-first teams with strong communication skills.
