Remote Software Project Lead

Description:

• Lead the software design, architecture, and delivery for a mission-critical program at DEFCON AI.
• Coordinate with a program manager, subject-matter expert, and optimization scientist to deliver software that meets customer needs and integrates optimization and analytics.
• Ensure a smooth transition from unclassified development to secure delivery in a government environment.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in building and shipping production software, with at least one end-to-end system ownership.
• Proficiency in front-end and data visualization engineering (e.g., React/TypeScript).
• Experience with unclassified-to-secure delivery processes and CI/CD practices.
• Strong communication skills to gather requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
• US Citizenship and Active Secret Clearance required.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
