Description:
- Skylight is a technology startup focused on creating family-oriented products, including the Skylight Calendar and Buddy.
- The company is seeking a Senior or Staff Back End Engineer to develop AI-powered features using Ruby on Rails and integrate with LLM APIs.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in building software products end to end.
- Deep mastery of Ruby on Rails or a similar back end language.
- Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM providers.
- Proven ability to ship zero-to-one products as a solo engineer or team lead.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across disciplines.
- Startup experience is preferred.
