The role of Senior Solutions Engineer involves working with customers to integrate Semgrep's products into their environments.
Daily engagements will contribute to a more secure development process by identifying software vulnerabilities early.
Responsibilities include becoming an expert on Semgrep, scoping customer engagements, articulating the platform's unique benefits, and minimizing customer friction.
The role also involves sharing customer feedback to influence product development and contributing to the solutions engineering organization.

Requirements:

Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
An interest in helping people solve technical problems is essential.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support is required.
Experience in communicating with executives and managing full sales cycles in large organizations is necessary.
Candidates should have a history of uplifting teams through technical knowledge and mentoring.
A deep understanding of developer workflows and CI/CD environments is required.
Exposure to application security, vulnerability management, and static analysis programs is preferred.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience is necessary.

The salary range for this position is $168,000 - $175,000 USD, with an uncapped OTE of $240,000 - $250,000.
