Description:

Position: Solutions Architect / Technical Lead (1099)
Location: 100% Remote - anywhere in the Continental U.S.
Rate: $117.50 per hour
Hours: Approximately 36 hours/week for a 9-month engagement

Role involves hands-on technical leadership for public-interest digital services, translating needs into secure and scalable solutions.

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in designing and developing production software systems with technical leadership responsibilities.
Strong experience with RESTful APIs, modern application architecture (.NET/C#, Java, Node.js, Python), and front-end frameworks (React, TypeScript).
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and configuration-driven systems.
Strong understanding of application security, privacy, and secure software development practices.
Health IT experience or equivalent with complex, regulated data systems is required.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not eligible for employee benefits (health insurance, paid time off, retirement benefits).
