ChainGPT is seeking a Blockchain Architect to join their technology leadership team, focusing on innovative blockchain and AI solutions.
The position is remote, available to applicants in Africa and globally, and is full-time.
The role involves architecting and designing Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain protocols for AI-driven workloads, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Responsibilities include defining the technical roadmap, creating technical documentation, mentoring engineering teams, conducting code reviews, and staying updated with emerging blockchain technologies.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8+ years of software development experience and 5+ years in blockchain architecture and engineering.
Proven experience in designing Layer 1 and Layer 2 protocols with significant contributions to blockchain projects is required.
Mastery of programming languages such as Golang, Rust, and/or C++ for low-level protocol development is essential.
A deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, cryptography, and secure protocol design is necessary.
Extensive experience with EVM-compatible blockchains and non-EVM chains like Solana and Cosmos is required.
Hands-on experience with decentralized storage, oracle services, and cross-chain bridges is needed.
Expertise in algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and back-end development is expected.
Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and integration with blockchain environments is important.
Strong background in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and containerized workloads is required.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is necessary, with additional certifications considered a strong advantage.
