Description:

Lighthouse Software Group is seeking an AI Lead to build and lead a new B2B SaaS business from the ground up.
The role involves partnering with vertical market software businesses to identify high-impact opportunities where AI can create significant customer value.
The new venture will focus on developing a developer-first, AI-enabled SaaS platform that integrates seamlessly into existing workflows and scales through strong product adoption.
The AI Lead will shape the product vision, drive go-to-market execution, build the founding team, and establish market leadership, supported by Aspire and Valsoft’s resources.
Responsibilities include leading the B2B SaaS business, owning AI strategy and execution, building production-ready AI solutions, partnering with various teams for commercialization, defining a scalable go-to-market strategy, and operating the business end-to-end with full autonomy.

Requirements:

Candidates should possess a founder mindset, motivated by building from scratch and owning the journey.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in building or operating AI software, API, or SDK-based platforms, with leadership experience in roles such as Product Lead, Startup Founder, or Sales/Operations Lead is required.
Demonstrated success in building early-stage ventures or leading 0→1 product launches, along with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, is essential.
A strong understanding of developer-first products, including documentation, onboarding, reliability, and versioning, is necessary.
Candidates must exhibit grit and resourcefulness, with a proven track record of operating without a playbook.
A commercial mindset with exposure to pricing, packaging, go-to-market execution, and customer adoption is required.
Excellent communication skills across both technical and business domains are essential.
The ability to drive the overall company vision, culture, and performance is crucial.

The AI Lead will have P&L responsibility, managing the company on a day-to-day and long-term basis.
The position includes an equity stake, allowing the lead to be a significant shareholder in the business they help create.
